Update

Het is een tijd geleden, maar we zijn er nog steeds en ook nog steeds actief met onze hobby. Nu ik ondertussen via de VISIO (speciaal voor blinden en slechtzienden) blind heb leren typen zal er wat vaker een berichtje gepost gaan worden in de toekomst.

It has been a while, but we're still here and still active with our hobby. I've learned to type blind at VISIO (especialy for blind and bad-sighted people) so there will be more often a post in the future.

Ondertussen niet stil gezeten kijk maar.

Na een jaar borduren met de hand..... eindelijk klaar!
After a year stitched by hand....finally finished!

En toen was er de "KLIKO-Quilt":
Het begon allemaal met hele kleine restjes die van onze projecten over waren en van weggegooide en afgedankte restjes. Weggooien?....Zonde!

And then there was the "KLIKO-Quilt": 
It all started with very small left-overs from our projects and thrown away scraps of others. (KLIKO is the name printed on the trashcan in the Netherlands.)

Van 1- naar 2- naar 4-patchblokje
From a 1- to a 2- to a 4-patch unit

Van 4 patch naar 4 x 4 patch = 8 inch blok
From a 4-patch unit to 4 x 4-patch units = a 8"block

Een impressie van een quiltpatroon die ik ontworpen heb op verzoek van een quiltvriendin bestaande uit enkel en alleen sterren van een soort. Zij heeft de top gemaakt, gezamenlijk gedubbeld en door Gerda doorgequilt.

An impression of a Quiltpattern I designed on request of a Quiltfriend, existing only out stars of 1kind. She made the top, together it was sandwidched and Gerda quilted it.
